It's a New Year, a New Day

Happy New Year to you all. We ( Linda and I ) would like to extend to each of our children and their families the oppurtunity to communicate on family blogs. It seems that with the hectic life that we lead that so often we do not take the time to call or text each other anymore. We would like your imput on how to better solve this situation. One method is to communicate to each other with family blogs. I know Quinn and Jamie and Michael and Julia have one, we also do, as you should know because I'm writing on it now. There are many things we can let our family know about, but just like everything else very personal items should not be delivered because the whole electronic world has access. Also we can Facebook and send messages to each other that could be more private. Please, let all of us try and work out a solution so that we can be a family. Remember the words to the famous poem.....
Roses are red,
I love your mother,
let us all blog,
and stay close to each other.

We love all our family and would like to wish them all the happiness this new year.

As with anyone else reading this we are doing fine. We have the home in St. George and Linda stays there as much as she can. It is sometimes necesary for her to come to Alpine for medical appointments because of her surgery on her back. We have the typical New Year goals of getting more exercise and getting back in shape,and this is the year that we will, I am still working out of Salt Lake and try and get down to St. George as much as possible to be with her and her parents. It is different than what we are used to, but hopefully it will be worth it. Getting out of the smog and traffic of the Wasatch front and going to the clear skies and beautiful weather and landscapes of southern Utah are worth it.
 The people are very friendly and we are in a branch, Green Valley Retirement branch. We live in the Sunbrook community.
